Cadre 1.0.0-rc.31
This is the current public Cadre preview for Apple Silicon Macs. The notes below describe the shipped release candidate, and the build facts link to lightweight first-party records that can be checked independently of this page.
Build verification
- Version: 1.0.0-rc.31.
- Platform: Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 13 or later.

Changed
- Exports are faster and truer to their quality settings. The encoder now runs in quality mode, so exported video hits the bitrate the export settings ask for — sharper motion and text, with somewhat larger files — and the per-frame pipeline wastes less time waiting on the encoder.
- Presenter Look no longer adds its own wait to each exported frame — the subject matte is fetched in parallel with the video decode instead of after it.
Fixed
- A safety guard now forces the encoder to emit a frame if it ever holds one back, so an export can no longer stall silently on encoder buffering.
Verification boundary
The release pipeline verified the production dependency audit, type checking, linting, the complete unit and integration suite, application and native builds, renderer bundle budgets, runtime-asset provenance, packaged contents, signing, notarization, the packaged SBOM and immutable publication checks for this exact artifact.
The separate current Agent API compatibility record covers an authenticated rc.20 and standalone plugin v1.0.2 MCP handshake, exact ordered 57-tool discovery and one benign app-state read. It publishes the exact artifacts, method, raw record and explicit non-proofs. The frozen historical rc.18 record remains available separately. Corrections can be sent to jack@cadre.cam.
