A reproducible seven-step review path
- Download the Mac or Windows build for your computer. The Mac build is signed and notarized; the Windows installer is unsigned.
- Record a short screen-and-microphone take or import your own footage.
- Make one manual cut and zoom, then confirm both remain editable on the timeline.
- Generate local captions and inspect the transcript.
- Open Edit with AI, write a bounded brief, and prepare a reviewable request for ChatGPT Work or Claude Cowork. Keep both desktop apps open on the same computer.
- Inspect the resulting timeline, undo the change, and repeat it manually.
- If reviewer export access has been arranged, export an MP4 and inspect it at full resolution.
The setup, draft and local bridge paths ship in Cadre. A complete fresh-account edit inside each provider app remains prelaunch validation. Reviewers choose their own footage, criteria and conclusions.
